EDITH WHARTON ESTATE WEDDING
ABOUT THIS EVENT
At the scenic Edith Wharton Estate in Massachusetts, this outdoor ceremony took place in the formal gardens of the stunning property, surrounded by nature. We mirrored the existing gazebo to create the chuppah, using natural flowers in pastels to reflect the garden. Following the ceremony guests stopped at the patio for cocktails before beginning their journey on foot to the tented reception, admiring the sculptures scattered along the way. The reception had a peach, black and white palette with long tables arranged in a rectalinear pattern. We took advantage of coral taper candles to pull orange hues from the florals, and opted for leather cords to tie the napkins for a more modern look. A series of asymmetrical planter boxes filled with lush greenery served as both the stage and bar backdrops, with floral arrangements composed of dahlias, ranunculus, David Austin roses and anemones.
