A fabulous 50th birthday for a divine lady and ‘Burner Crowd’. We found an amazing, grungy venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Guests walked down a long entry and were greeted by stilted characters. Prior to the party, each guest was sent a blank mask and an assortment of ideas to decorate and embellish them. All the masks were then sent back to us and used as the backdrop to the cocktail bar. After cocktails, we served dinner around a very unique focal point: a man in a huge tub of hummus and vegetable Crudités. Dinner segued into an energetic dance party with a host of colorful characters. Needless to say— it was a very, very late night.
